These fit like factory mags, and they function like factory mags. If you want more firepower for your Sig, get these mags from Brownells. They have the best price going right now.

I bought several of these that I use for league shooting. I have yet to have any problems. The magazines insert positively and drop freely. They feed rounds without any problems. I like that they have a plastic floor plate because I regularly drop these on a concrete floor and I feel that metal floor plates might get damaged.

Perfect magazine for a few extra rounds. It is the 18 round magazine with a plus 2 base plate on it. It has a much better finish than the older magazines from this company. They used to come with a shiny blue finish, these are more mat black.

Flawless magazine, and adds three more rounds than the factory magazine. This will be my new carry magazine for the MK25 Sig Sauer pistol.

I have the p229 .40 and bought a 9mm conversion from bar-sto and even though the 40 round magazines work , I wanted a better fit. I bought one of these and it works great. My p229 .40 is now a p229 9mm as well. Why buy the factor sig magazines for 50 bucks and only get 13 rounds? Buy these ( this company makes sig magazines for sig ) and you get 2 more rounds and half the proce.

I carry this on duty everyday. I've fired over 500 rounds with no stoppage or problems of any kind. Looks better than the oem. I like having 15 rounds immediately if needed. I highly recommend this to other LEO s for duty carry. As I can afford it my oem mags will be replaced with this brand. 15 instead of 12 rounds makes sense . I carried a Glock 22 for about 20 years and being able to get back into that 15 round mindset works for me.me.

Fits perfectly, fit and finish are better than the OEM mags. So far they have functioned perfectly although I only have a hundred rounds through them so far.

Mec-Gar mags are a must have for Sig handguns. Don't even think of buying cheap mags. Mec-Gar are quality built, rock solid to match the Sig name. They function every time. My 229 and 226 use the Mec-Gar brand.

I was skeptical about non-OEM magazines. I only bought one. This magazine has been as trouble free as the ones that came in the box with my P228. I can only echo everyone else:

I've purchased several of these mags for duty use because I don't trust the current Sig factory mags. They have worked flawlessly. If Mec-Gar sold repalcement parts for these mags, they would merit 5 stars.

I am currently a firearm instructor and range master for my police department as well as a member of our SWAT Team. I recently purchased these magazines at the recommendation of a colleague. I am pretty hard on my weapons during training and I am strict on what I expect from a piece of equipment to consider it "reliable". I put these magazines through their paces on the range with various speed and combat drills and I had zero malfunctions. I only have about 500rds through them at this time, but I have been very pleased with them and would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a reliable piece of equipment for a combat handgun.

Mec Gar makes the 13 round Sig Magazine anyway. The ONLY complaint I ever herd was one SWAT team memember saying that his 15 round mag rattled when he ran and made him less stealthy. His huffing and puffing, plus all his other gear already did that. I have found no reason to complain. If I want to be stealthy I won't be jogging or running with enough bounce to rattle the rounds in the mag. So far no jams, no double feed jams, and ????? rounds later it is still a fine Magazine. $20-$39 more for a mag made by the same company that says Sig Sauer on it? Either magazine is great. I have yet to find a MecGar mag that I did not like. From my Browning to the Sig they make the best mags period! I sweat all over stuff in the 120 degree heat. It does put corrosion proofing to the test. No issues there at all either. Good stuff!

This is a very nice magazine. It is just as nice as a factory marked magazine. The baseplate is polymer but that is fine. There is no reason for me to buy Sig factory mags anymore.

finish allows the mag to easily drop free. I have used these for thousands of rounds in my 226 and not one failure of any kind. These should come standard from the factory!

An excellent mag. I think with the anti-friction coating they are better than any of the Sig factory mags I have plus hold more rounds. Work perfect and you can tell they are smoother inside because they load easier. I will buy these instead of spending extra money on Sig factory mags that are not as good.

The P228 and the 9mm P229 take the same magazines. I have used these in my P229 for about a year now with no issues. For those of you that don't know, Mec-Gar is the company that makes the OE Sig Sauer magazines. If you are looking for a quality magazine that is cheaper and can carry more rounds than the Sig marked mags - look no further!

Fit and function were excellent. I have several hundereds of rounds thru two different P228's with out one malfunction. I have used these magazines on a firing line and I carry them in my P228 for self protection.

I have several of these mags for my P228 and have never had a single problem having run several hundred rounds through them. Quality and reliability are as good as Sig's OEM. I use these mags in my P228 for our local club's weekly matches, less formal recreational shooting and for self defense.

I bought 2 of these over a year ago when I bought my used P226. all i can say about these mags is the are perfect. over 1000 rounds through each one and never one jam or catch at all. they have been through dirt, mud, sand, ice, rivers, and what ever else i could find to test them and nothing is wrong at all. great product
