An Adjustable Gas Block That Lets You Fine-Tune Gas Flow

Though there are other adjustable gas blocks on the market, only the ODIN Works AR-15 Adjustable Low Profile Gas Block gives you an incredible amount of versatility with an unprecedented number of stops, giving users 20 different points to truly fine-tune gas flow. Each ODIN Works adjustable gas block is machined from carbon steel and treated with a black-nitride finish. The front-facing adjustment screw is made from Inconel, which allows it to withstand the high temperatures encountered during rapid firing. No set screws are needed to adjust this block, and options are available to fit .750, .875 and .936 gas-block journals. Does not fit pistol length gas systems

Have one on every rifle (10/01/2017)

This adjustable gas block goes on all of my rifles. It makes my 223 shoot with, what seems like, the recoil of a 22LR. It is easier to adjust than the Syrac gas block. The adjustment screw is made from Inconel, so the erosion concerns are minimized.

This gas block stays sold out all the time for a reason.

I needed a small profile adjustable gas block to fit under the UTG/Leapers hand guard and this Odin Gas Block is just the ticket. I also put 2 sets of Magpul M-Lok Rail covers on and there was plenty of clearance. Adjustment was smooth and appears solid and is easy as you can see the end of the Allen wrench going into the adjustment screw thru the M-Lok slots, just a few shots and I had the rifle functioning perfectly with the suppressor. Still need to find the setting for when I don't use it. Will be putting it on future builds.

Bought this for AR10, to use suppressed.Does excellent job cotrolling over gas problem,buying another for AR15.Easy install and easy to adjust.Very good product.

Outstanding Adjustable Gas block (09/12/2017)

Put this gas block on a 300 blackout Frankenstein gun to replace another adjustable gas block I had installed. Unfortunately, with the other block and it's design, it forced me to take off my fore grip (Diamondhead VRS-T Free Float HG "T" 15") in order to adjust the block and then lock it down with the set screw. With the Odin works I do not have to worry about the set screw with this handguard. I just bought the extra long adjustable Gas Block 7/64" Ball Wrench and I have instant adjustments. I really recommend this product, really great design.

Won't fit many low-profile handguards. (28/12/2017)

In the Q&A for this gas block, many people are asking if this will fit "xyz" handguard. Brownell's tech support keeps answering that the gas block has an overall height of 1.4".

That is pretty much all you need to know, but I am sure like many I thought to myself "well, perhaps I can just squeeze it in there...". Every "lightweight", "low-profile" handguard I've tried (Aero Precision, Midwest Industries) seems to use a 1.3" inside diameter. This gas block will hit the gas tube channel at the 2-3 o'clock position where the side set-screw housing protrudes just a bit from the overall profile.

As one user said, if you insist on going ahead with this gas block, you may need to trim it down just a bit on one side to get a bit of clearance..

Myself, I just bit the bullet and ordered another handguard with a 1.75" inside diameter, which is fairly normal for silencer-size accommodating handguards (seems to be the second most popular size inside diameter in handguards).

If it's a close call and you are a paying Brownell's Edge member, order & give it a shot, but be prepared to send it back or modify it.

A little too fat. (21/01/2018)

I currently own 2. Allows me to properly adjust gas without worrying about coming out of adjustment. Easily readjusted if needed. Every AR should have one.

On the down side the design is too big and blocky. Makes hard contact with narrow forearms. By my estimation this is not added strength, just style. A bad choice. I took a grinder and file to mine and fixed it. Now they are both perfect. I certainly hope ODIN reads this and corrects this problem on their own.
