The BCM® PNT™ Trigger and Hammer are built to surpass Mil-Spec standards without compromising the reliability of the USGI TDP(Technical Data Package). Each PNT Trigger and Hammer is heat treated in a three step process and hardened for optimal grain structure alignment, surpassing commercial "equivalents" in both durability and performance. To create a perfect alignment and smooth trigger pull, the BCM PNT Trigger and Hammer bores are honed to perfection and the impact resistant trigger and hammer pins are centerless ground to a fine finish with superior tolerances. The BCM Disconnector is stamped from 1070 material and fine blanked for cleaner edges and double disc ground to precise size to ensure consistent and reliable operation. Hand polished sear engagement surfaces reduce friction an additional 300% beyond the Mil-Spec. An electroless nickel finish reduces felt creep and cleans up the grittiness commonly associated with the press in a Mil-Spec trigger. Teflon particles embedded in the nickel, further reduce friction in the interface and double down on a finish that is corrosion, rust and oxidation resistant.

Trigger is built well and machine work is high quality. Zero issues with fit or finish. Trigger pull is heavier than I like and this isn't a >$100 trigger so I was prepared for that. Trigger reset is basically the full length trigger pull, no advantages here. Pull is steady & smooth - no grit - crisp break. Better by far when compared to unpolished, coated, mil-spec. Great mid-tier trigger that works as it should and will last.

If you want the Executive Summary, this is a 5 Star GI Trigger that is a 3 Star Value at its price.
I bought a Colt 6920 and it had such a terrible trigger, it was hard to shoot decent groups. I donât have the spare cash right now for a Geissele SSA and really a M4 type rifle doesnât need one anyway. This trigger had the best reviews of the Enhanced GI triggers and the cost were all similar among the various ALG and the BCM so I felt most comfortable with this option.
I donât have a trigger pull gauge, but this is a good single stage GI trigger that transformed my rifle and it is now easy to shoot acceptable groups at the range. My only problem with all these triggers is that they should probably all sell for about $30. The last two lowers I built using DPMS and an old Stag LPK both have very acceptable triggers. The BCM is a little better, but it cost more than either LPK for just the trigger.
Iâve heard good things about PSAâs $30 EPT Trigger and will pick one up the next time I see one on sale to compare the two.

I own four BCMs that came with this trigger, partially thanks to Brownells and there 10% off sales that compelled me to buy some of them. I swapped every trigger for Geissele SSAs. It's not that this isn't a fine OEM trigger, but it's still too heavy and creepy for my tastes. Caveat: I'm not a tactical guy. I shoot for the love of guns and joy of shooting...but my home defense BCM ELW has a Geissele 2-stage. Again, it's a fine trigger, and easy to sell to help defray the cost of the Geissele, and if you like a quality, heavy trigger that's a cut above MILSPEC, this is a good one.

I don't want to carry a carbine with too light a trigger. Just in case the shooting goes to court.
What I want is a trigger that is breaks clean and has no creep or grittiness.
And this BCM offers all that.

Trigger is impressive, think of it as a step up from a ALG Defense ACT halfway between that and the Geissele 2 stage. The BCM PNT is very clean, very crisp, and has a 5-6 lb pull. I was blown away at how good it is for the cost, minimal first stage that is barely noticeable, then a nice break. Crisp hard reset. Would definitely buy again.

I used this trigger in my AR-15 300 Blackout build. Fantastic trigger, great function and solid. While a drop-in trigger would have been nice, this one is smooth, clean, and breaks well. If you are building a mil-spec rifle this is a great trigger.

My comments here are basically on installation. It was a breeze. I pulled the trigger pin out of the trigger and disconnector and by hand inserted the trigger, disconnector, and pushed the pin through the lower receiver. No tools, hammer, etc. On the hammer I did insert a punch pin from the right side to hold the hammer in place. I then used hand pressure and jiggling to push the hammer pin through the hammer and the lower receiver. Only about 1/8" of the pin stuck out and I used a plastic marker pen and brass hammer to set it flush. No scratch marks on the LR. Using a dummy round I tested the trigger pull and it feels smooth. I was impressed with the quality. All springs are pre-assembled and in place. The trigger and hammer pins are inserted as in the picture.

just couldn't pay the money for a decent 2 stage so I took a shot in the dark and ordered this bravo trigger group instead. 5 minutes to install and the shot breaks like glass. no pull gauge but estimate well below 5#.
could be due to the super fine finish on the mating surface. will be ordering the same unit for my next build.

For non-competitors, this is the perfect trigger upgrade. After only 40 or 50 hammer block dry fires, the pull is smooth as glass, then breaks crisply. With just a touch of Brownell's Action Magic on all contact surfaces, pull is consistent 5 lb. Geissele's BG2S-E has been my 'best value upgrade' 'til now, but this PNT gives me at least 80% of the BG2S-E's improvement (over a stock GI trigger) for a third the cost.

Noticeably smoother pull and crisper break than standard MIL Spec trigger for only a few more dollars. This is a great way to upgrade for a low cost or to put in your build.
