Barrel-mounted, dovetail Bullseye sight gets you on target fast with perfect alignment for improved accuracy. Steel, double-ring peep design ensures consistent sight alignment and helps improve shooting form. The moment the rear sight is misaligned, the front sight drifts out of the center ring, telling the shooter to re-align. Replaces standard 3⁄8" dovetail rear sights on many rifles. For use with bead-type or traditional blade front sights. Adjustable models are available with a short or long base and six-position step elevator that’s adjustable in .030" increments for precise elevation settings.
SPECS: Steel, blue, polished finish. Fits nominal 3⁄8" (9.5mm) dovetail. Outside Ring O.D. - 9⁄16" (1.4cm). Inside Ring I.D. - .15” (3.8mm). Adjustable - .338”-.535” (8.6mm - 13.5mm) elevation adjustment in six, .030” (.76mm) increments. OAL from rear of dovetail - Long: 2½” (6.3cm). Short - 1½” (3.8cm). Elevator is included.

Works for me!(13/02/2010)
I mounted the short bulls eye sight on my Marlin 60 [the long sight *will* also work for the 60] because my eyes don't work so great anymore with the typical factory open sights. I had also replaced the front sight with a fiber optic sight. I found that I can shoot slightly tighter groups with the factory blade sight, but I come on target much faster with this sight (I had to really work for the tighter groups with the factory open sight). I will probably keep this sight on my rifle. Installation was easy: the sight only needed a few passes with a triangle file to fit in the 3/8" dovetail slot. It seems rugged and well made with a nice blued finish. My sight had some ripples on the rings, like something dragged across the metal before the sight was finished, but I don't notice the ripples in use. I stands pretty tall from the barrel (about 3/4" above the barrel on the lowest setting), so this *might* be an issue to look at if you scope your rifle. While not the most precise sighting system for alignment, it gives a fast sight picture and is suprisingly usable even in low light. I'm satisfied with what it does, I'm happy with its construction, I'm *very* happy with the price, and I'll be buying another one (the fixed one) for my Ruger 10/22.
Great addition to the Henry H001 .22LR(21/02/2011)
I was looking for a sight that my middle age eyes could tolerate and be comfortable with. I installed this bullseye and my accuracy improved trifold. Easy to see and quick to get on target. Do yourself a favor and buy this sight! The short version is the one you want for the Henry rifles. I might add that it really improves the appearance of the rifle as I have many peiople at the range asking about it. Minor fitting may be required but just slightly, if any.
Worked well on Remington 514Y(20/12/2012)
I replaced the stock sheet metal sight on this rifle. Installation was fairly simple, but did require a lot of filing. Thank goodness it shot just a touch high at 25 yards, since you can't lower impact. I needed just a couple of taps to get windage right on target. I shot several groups under a dime with this. Not bad for an old guy with bad eyes.
This sight is well worth the money!(02/10/2018)
My Model 94 32 spl carbine was assembled during the lost period of '42-'46; barrel was made in '38 and dovetailed for the short spring buckhorn, but it was assembled with a long spring buckhorn that we could never keep together with the ramp: the thumb beavertail had to be cut off to get the sight to work at all. When I found this short bulls-eye and discovered that it would work on my gun, I ordered it. I chose 'slow-boat' mail shipping (cheapest), but it still took only 5 days. It installed easily, if with a bit of barrel scarring from a sight pusher that didn't work perfectly with the tapered Winchester barrel. I like the look and I especially like that the (included) ramp is "trapped" and can't get lost. Laser bore sighting indicates that the gun will be easier to get shooting close. It was almost impossible with the long spring sight. Considering that I've never taken a shot further away than about 170 yards, this bulls-eye sight should be a BUNCH easier to hunt with!
