The Area 419 Arcalock Clamp for the Atlas and Harris Bipods feature a proprietary two-stage screw design. This clamp works on all standard Arca/1.5” Dovetail Rails. The clamping screw features two different thread pitches. The coarse 16tpi is used when no tension is on clamp, allowing rapid movement of the clamp vs others on the market. With high speed comes low torque though, so to counteract this as soon as the clamp sees tension it will switch to the 32tpi threads in the knob to give you extra torque when not using on an ARCALOCK rail. Clamp and knob machined in house from 6061-T6 Aluminum Screw is turned from 303 Stainless Steel Type III Hardcoat Black anodized clamp and Gold anodized knob A 1/4 turn releases the clamp from the detents on the ARCALOCK rail for movement. One turn releases clamp to be removed from rail. The clamp directly bolts to Atlas Bipods using their factory hardware. The barricade stop can either be standalone on the clamp using provided hardware, or sandwiched between an Atlas bipod (Barricade stop does not work with Harris Bipods). The clamp is backwards compatible with standard ARCA rails by removing the two pins, and will still work this way to give you infinite sliding adjustment on the ARCALOCK rail. Moving side of clamp is dovetailed on both sides to prevent tilt.
Il morsetto Arcalock di Area 419 per i bipodi Atlas e Harris presenta un design proprietario a vite a due stadi. Questo morsetto è compatibile con tutte le guide standard Arca/1.5” Dovetail. La vite di serraggio presenta due diverse filettature. La filettatura grossa 16tpi viene utilizzata quando non c'è tensione sul morsetto, consentendo un movimento rapido rispetto ad altri sul mercato. Tuttavia, con alta velocità viene a mancare la coppia, quindi per controbilanciare ciò, non appena il morsetto subisce tensione, passerà alle filettature 32tpi nella manopola per darti una coppia extra quando non viene utilizzato su una guida ARCALOCK. Morsetto e manopola lavorati internamente in alluminio 6061-T6. La vite è realizzata in acciaio inossidabile 303 con rivestimento anodizzato nero di tipo III e manopola anodizzata oro. Un quarto di giro rilascia il morsetto dai detent sulla guida ARCALOCK per il movimento. Un giro completo rilascia il morsetto per essere rimosso dalla guida. Il morsetto si fissa direttamente ai bipodi Atlas utilizzando il loro hardware di fabbrica. Il fermo per barricate può essere sia autonomo sul morsetto utilizzando l'hardware fornito, sia inserito tra un bipode Atlas (il fermo per barricate non è compatibile con i bipodi Harris). Il morsetto è retrocompatibile con le guide ARCA standard rimuovendo i due perni e funzionerà comunque in questo modo per offrirti un'infinita regolazione scorrevole sulla guida ARCALOCK. Il lato mobile del morsetto è sagomato su entrambi i lati per prevenire l'inclinazione.
