Si inserisce nell’alloggiamento, si richiude l’arma tenendo Upper e Lower ravvicinati con un po' di forza e si riposiziona il Takedown Pin: con soli € 4,70 il fastidioso gioco è sparito!
Not worth it. junk(19/08/2009)
I purchased this item thinking it would be better than my o-ring fix. I have a rra sbr that has alittle movement in the upper. so I took this out of the package and placed in the lower. No go, I figured I would have to trim it as most do. So I began trimming, then test fit, then trimming, then test fit. By the time I was done I had a little piece of rubber that did make the top alittle tighter but did not fix it totaly like my 5 cent oring in the front fix. Dont botter buying any of these. Do the oring fix or fork up the [$] for the tention pins.
It works(13/11/2009)
my ar isnt worn yet, but this item does allow a nice tight fit
Great product and super price(16/01/2010)
Great Product!! Installed in less than five min. 98% of movement removed. [...]
Does not work in AR-10(05/03/2010)
Bought one of these for my Armalite AR-10. I had to entirely grind off the rubber base before the take down pin would push through. Waste of $ for my rifle. Product should site make and model of weapons for which it is useful.
WASTE OF MONEY!(24/05/2010)
Bought this product cause heard alot of gossip about i own a colt m4 thought it was gonna be a breeze just drop in but it did not fit at all like everybodys elses i had to cut alot of it off the top to get it to fit wasted my money
Works great when you use your head(11/08/2010)
ok first off the title of this item is "AR15 (ONE FIVE) accu-wedge", so don't use it on something else. Next, it is designed to hold the upper and lower in compression, So after you drop it into the lower receiver you will need to squeeze/compress the receivers together before pushing in the pin. It can be difficult but it will go! This item stopped all rattle in 2 brand new guns, a Stag, and a BM. Not sure if it helped accuracy on not but the guns dont make any noise now. Gotta get you one.
Great Accurizer(13/08/2010)
Great drop in component to quickly rid your weapon of un-wanted play at the rear take-down pin. Had to trim about 1/16" of material from top of wedge to clear Bolt carrier travel path.
Took most play out(27/12/2010)
Works fine in my M4. Didn't have to trim as others here have said they did. It didn't take all the play out, but enough that I'm happy at this price.
Note, might wanna buy two while they're cheap. I forgot how small these things are and will probably misplace mine and have to hunt for it next time I clean the rifle.
They work(24/01/2011)
I have used these for a long time. Since these are a generic fit item some will require trimming to fit (Some more than others, where as others may just drop right in.) They do tighten the upper to reduce play, quieting down all rattles, and improving accuracy as the upper wont move during each shot. I believe in this enough to send one to my son preparing to deploy to Afghanistan, his weapon is increadibly loose.
Awesome!(05/02/2011)
It is simple to install. It was a tight fit, but over time the rubber will mold better to the rifle. It fit perfect in my M4, I own a High Standard M4 (just in case you are looking at getting this and you have a High Standard too, it WILL work). Great for the price. No play in the rifle any more. Firm as a rock.
Perfect Fit(05/05/2011)
[...] The accu-wedge fit perfectly in my Bushmaster xm15 carbine and completely eliminated the little bit of slop between the upper and lower. Don't know about any improvement in accuracy as I haven't been able to shoot it yet but the Bushmaster was very accurate right out of the box anyway. This rifle can shoot sub 1.5" groups at 100 yards with no problems.
Don't bother.(07/05/2011)
A really neat and logical idea but honestly once I got done "fitting" this to my RRA, I realized I could have gotten the same result out of a piece of foam tape. Just way too big for most setups.
'Nother happy Bushy X-15 owner!!(22/05/2011)
Drop under rear receiver pin, & 3 seconds later, the best mod. for [$] is done. LOVE IT!
Easy as can be(12/06/2011)
I read all the reviews and am not sure how those people had problems. I own a Colt LEO addition and the accu wedge just fit right in, I had no trimming and no problem. Easiest part I have ever installed and does quiet the upper from the lower.
not for stag(19/09/2011)
does not fit on a stag lower and upper installed went to pin back together and the two would not compress to allow rear take down pin to slide through .would probly work good on other upper and lowers but there is not enough space between the bottom of the upper and lower to allow assymbly
It Works(06/11/2011)
It's a pretty neat little part. It does exactly what they say it will do. It tightens up your receivers if you are concerned about sloppiness. Not that the sloppiness matters but at least you have a tight, no-rattle gun. Oh and it's super easy to install. Like, REALLY easy.
Good product.(29/11/2011)
You can order other brands cheaper, but they are " cheap ". Works well, installs easily, and makes a big difference on a tactical or competitive firearm. The negative reviews seem to be from the clueless sheeple.
Works well(10/03/2012)
I bought a couple just to make sure the fit was nice and tight between the two builds im doing right now and it tightened up the little bit of play between a bcm upper and my spikes lower. These two parts wont be going together but it definately showed the product worked.
Works as advertised(23/03/2012)
I bought this product due to some minor wiggle between my upper and lower receiver. Popped out the rear takedown pin and installed the AccuWedge in about 10 seconds. Absolutely no more wiggle in my AR and a cheap fix for a minor aesthetic annoyance.
Works great, Know your equipment(16/09/2012)
I bought two of these. One for my personal DPMS and one for my issued Colt. It helps to know a little about your AR lower when you install these. On DPMS and others they are considered a "Low-Shelf" lowers and these drop right in (the wedge is made by DPMS after all). On Colt, RRA, S&W, Armalite, and some others they are "High-Shelf" lowers and there is not as much room under the takedown pin. On my DPMS it dropped right in. On my issued Colt I spent a whopping 5 minutes of my life trimming to fit, and I was done. Sometimes you have to fit parts to a gun, that's why they call it gunsmithing. The feel on both rifles is much better without the rattle between the two halves, and I couldn't be happier. Well worth a few bucks and a few minutes.
Works(01/12/2012)
I have a DPMS Sportical that was pretty loose. The wedge dropped right and in tightened everything up. No mods required. I'll put these in every AR I own.
Very effective(28/12/2012)
Bought this to tighten up the fit between my Bushy upper and lower. Fits and works perfectly. Not much else to say except that it is nice to have a completely tight rifle with no wiggles or rattles.
Fit in a Stag Arms(30/04/2013)
I just purchased this and it is a bit large for my Stag Arms Ar15. I will have to shave a little off the flat portion that makes contact with the upper receiver for it to fit. Right now the rear take down pin will not line up with the rear hole in the lower.
Improves accuacy!(07/03/2015)
This little part really does help for accuarcy. You will need to put some weight on an AR to have that rear pin to line up. Once that is done, that AR you own will be so tight that even your groupings will be tighter.
Why Wouldn't You(30/06/2016)
I came across this a while back and thought, why not try it. I hate slop in an AR. If I can fix even a little bit with a $5 part I'm going to try it. Install takes about 5 seconds, and your done. Took up most of the slop in my Anderson/Del-Ton combo. Can't complain about that. I will be using these from now on.
