But which rods do they fit?????

Ordered this part but can't use it because it doesn't fit onto the cleaning rod. Both the cleaning rod and this jag have female threads!
After talking with the gun tech @ Brownells, I was told to order part number 929-110-607, which is the male to male adapter needed to use with the cleaning rod.

Wrong thread for most cleaning rods! (27/01/2012)

Don't order this jag if our cleaning rod has the typical female end threads, because there is not way to attach it. Instead order the jag: 929-100-607.
This jag has the correct male thread end to connect with most cleaning rods.

As near as I can tell, the thread pattern is 5.5 mmX28TPI. You need an adapter for the adapter that must come from Mars.

As stated in the description, this adapter fits the 12-28 male threads on the Dewey cleaning rods. I just started using these on a 30BR barrel and really like it. If you put two pellets on the tip, they expand enough to give good contact to the bottom of the barrel grooves. Pellets used this way come out of the muzzle striped from cleaning to the bottom of the grooves. I'm going to use the 6mm version on my 6PPC as well.

Be careful, this has a #12 thread. 99.9% of all cleaning rods have an 8-32 thread

Make sure you get the adapter for your cleaning rod. TIP:Get a 1 inch 8/32 screw and cut off the head and use a 5mm by .07 die and rethread one end to fit the VFG adapter. Cost me only [$].
